Tampa Bay Area, Florida

We shop the list, load the trucks, and hand deliver to local organizations and families in need.

Greater Tampa Bay Revitalization started small: just friends and family working to make a change in our community. Every holiday season we turn donations into toys and goods to fill a real need for local families, and we do the work ourselves: fundraising, picking up the items, and delivering them to where they're needed. We're still a small group, and with your help we'd like to make this year bigger than ever.

Last year: $50,000 raised. $0 kept. 100% of it on the kids.

Our mission
We give back to our community in the most direct way we can. Every dollar you give becomes an item bought to fill a specific need, something a family actually asked for. We shop it, load it, and hand-deliver it, so you can be confident your gift goes straight to the people who need it most.

How we help

No middleman. No warehouse. Just us, doing the work.

Three steps, start to finish, and our hands are on every one of them.

Step one

We find the gap

We ask the case workers, officers, teachers and pastors who stand beside Pinellas families every day what's actually missing. Then we make the list. Not guesswork. Specific purchases for specific needs.

Step two

We buy the item

Every dollar you give goes to Walmart and comes back as goods: bikes we assemble and adjust by hand, LEGO sets, sports gear, and everyday essentials, whatever the gap calls for. We don't keep a penny.

Step three

We hand-deliver it

Our team loads the U‑Hauls and carries it through the door ourselves, to the organizations and families we know are in need, because we've been there. No drop-off bins. No sorting facility.

Shopping carts packed with Wilson basketballs, footballs, soccer balls and sports gear during the drive's Walmart shopping trip.
Shopping day: every cart is a gap we promised to fill.

Every bike assembled and adjusted by hand.

Where it started

One neighbor. One act of kindness. A parking lot full of bikes.

It started the way the best things here do: with one neighbor paying attention. A friend named Brian bought bikes and LEGOs for people in need and put the word out: if you or anyone you know needs a bike or a toy for Christmas, come by the Mobil on Main Street in Safety Harbor. Word spread through the neighborhood. Families came. Kids left holding handlebars.

The idea was simple: if you or anyone you know needs a bike or a toy for Christmas, come by and see us. That idea has never changed. the idea behind the very first giveaway

That single act grew into Greater Tampa Bay Revitalization's annual drive. It began with close friends and family, and that is still who we are: a small group working to make a larger impact than ever this year. The work is the same as always: we shop the list, load the trucks, and hand-deliver to local organizations and families in need. This year, we're asking for your help to make it extra special.

And this doesn't stop in December. We're part of this community all year long. Neighbors come to us with needs, big and small, because they know us and they trust us. The holiday drive is our biggest event, but the door is open all year.

Where it happens

One of many stops: the Mobil on Main Street.

The parking lot in these photos is the neighborhood Safety Harbor Mobil, where the very first bikes were handed out. It's one of several places we show up, and the only one we happen to have pictures of. The work is the same everywhere: we shop the list, load the trucks, and hand-deliver. If you or a family you know needs a bike or a toy this Christmas, reach out, and we'll make sure you're on the list.
